Static caravan (1970s) scale model
Static caravan (1970s) scale model
3D-printed model of a static caravan, commonly seen in caravan parks across the UK. This static caravan is based on a prototype from the late 1970s/early 1980s.
The caravan has a large window at the front, 3 smaller windows on the side with the door and two windows on the side opposite the door.
This model comes as a kit of parts. The caravan body has a opening in the base to allow you add your own curtain/glazing details. The separate base piece will fill the gap afterwards. Assembly instructions can be found here.
The kit also contains a trailer body and three wheels. The trailer gets used when moving the static caravans into position after delivery by a flatbed lorry (or even by rail!). Some static caravans have wooden siding to hide the trailer once in place.
OO, TT and N gauge models are available. Interested in a different scale? Why not send us a message.
Please note that our models are supplied unpainted, and the colour of the model may differ from the photographed examples.
Information for painting, gluing and working with our models can be found here.
