London 1T1 AEC Regal bus model

A 3D printed scale model of a rear entrance London 1T1 bus.

This model is based on an AEC Regal chassis and and an L.G.O.C body with 30 seats, featuring a rear entrance. 50 buses were used in the original form between 1929 and the mid-1930s, when the 45 central area buses were rebuilt to a front entrance design. The five country area Regals were rebuilt and retained the rear entrance around 1936/37. Other than T31, which was preserved, all had been scrapped by 1953.

We have two versions available:

• Country - has the rebuilt bodywork from 1936/37. This version doesn't has two thin thin bands on the bodywork below the window, and a wide band at the bottom of the bus.
• Preserved - resembles the preserved T31, which was modified back to its original form in preservation. It features a bulge in the bodywork just the windows rather than the thin bands, a front window destination board and thin beading that runs around the bottom of the bus. There is also slightly different detailing on the rear and beside the engine.

Each version comes as an unpainted model, consisting of a resin 3D printed body shell, the interior/chassis, and the four wheels. The kit does not include glazing or transfers.
