Cotton bale scale model (set of 4)
Cotton bale scale model (set of 4)
A set of four resin 3D printed cotton bales, ideal for industrial dioramas and model railway scenes. Perhaps added to the back of a wagon, or in a scene with a cotton mill.
These cotton bales are typical of those that used to originate in cotton gins in countries such as the US and India. The raw cotton would be compressed, bound and wrapped into a cotton bale ahead of shipping. Ships would transport the bales by sea to ports such as Liverpool, where they would then travel by road, rail or canal to cotton mills in cities, such as Manchester and Leeds.
The cotton bales are available in two styles. The first is plain with the straps clearly visible, and the second is a canvas-covered. The canvas would protect the bales from the elements.
O, OO, TT and N gauge models are available. Interested in a different scale? Why not send us a message.
Please note that our models are supplied unpainted, and the colour of the model may differ from the photographed examples.
