Set of 6 3D printed aerial ropeway bucket scale models. Ideal items item for those modelling aerial ropeways on model railways or dioramas.
Aerial ropeways were a method to transport materials out of a colliery or quarry. Buckets like these models would hang on the cable of the ropeway and hold the material that was being moved.
These model aerial ropeway buckets include details such as the wheel carriage and hooks on the side of the bucket. Once assembled it can hang from a modelled cable (not included). At full scale each bucket measures just under 2m from the base of the bucket to the top of the wheels.
Each bucket comes as a kit of 3 or 4 parts held together with small plastic sprues. The O and OO gauge kits have four parts while the TT and N gauge kits have three. The parts will need separating from the sprues before gluing them together. Assembly instructions for the O and OO kits are here while instructions for the TT and N kits are here.
